Students newly entering SFC in September 2026 should complete STEP 0 as soon as possible after visiting this website. Current students do not need to complete STEP 0. All students taking the level check should complete STEPS 1–3 by the applicable deadline.

STEP 0: Answer the Preliminary Questionnaire (For New Students Entering in September 2026 Only)
If you are entering SFC as a new undergraduate or graduate student in September 2026, please answer the preliminary questionnaire as soon as possible after visiting this website. This questionnaire allows the Japanese Language Section to contact you directly with important information about the Japanese Language Level Check and Japanese language courses. Current students do not need to complete STEP 0.
